Job description

Role Overview

Join GEA as an Administrator Payroll Services and contribute meaningfully to a sustainable future. GEA is dedicated to impactful work ranging from ensuring safe foods and beverages to developing life-saving medicines and reducing CO₂ emissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete payroll process independently while complying with legal, tariff, and social security regulations.
  • Serve as primary contact for employees, managers, and internal stakeholders, including handling international assignments.
  • Oversee company pension schemes autonomously.
  • Coordinate with health insurance providers and authorities, assisting during audits and inspections.
  • Participate actively in local and global HR/payroll projects.
  • Support year-end closing tasks such as verifying leave carryovers, preparing income tax certificates, and submitting social security notifications.

Candidate Profile

  • Completed commercial vocational training.
  • At least two years of professional experience in in-house payroll processing.
  • Proficient in using SAP, specifically S/4HANA for payroll activities.
  • Strong numerical affinity combined with organized and independent work habits.
  • Team-oriented, service-focused, and capable of handling work pressure effectively.
  • Fluent in German and good command of English.
