Lead Software Engineer - Power Platform Release Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Power Platform Release Specialist with 6 to 8 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years dedicated to Power Platform administration, governance, application lifecycle management (ALM), and Power Apps development. Candidates holding certifications such as PL-400, PL-410, or PL-600 are highly preferred. The ideal candidate should exhibit strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and effective stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise-wide Power Platform release processes and lifecycle governance to facilitate secure, stable, and compliant deployments across all stages: development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
• Oversee release pipelines related to Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, ensuring smooth and error-free transitions between stages.
• Implement governance policies around managed solutions, version control, dependency management, and rollback procedures to maintain system integrity.
• Handle configuration items critical to releases such as connection references, environment variables, and service accounts; coordinate release readiness activities among development teams, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and governance authorities.
• Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including deployment logs and audit trails to ensure compliance and traceability.
• Provide support for production release incidents and conduct post-deployment reviews to continuously improve the release process.
