Lead Product Designer

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Product Designer with 10 to 15 years of experience to spearhead the design and user experience direction of our digital product portfolio. This role demands deep knowledge of UX/UI design practices, product planning, user research, and leadership within a design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire product design lifecycle from user research and concept generation through to final execution.
• Devise and implement a comprehensive design and user experience strategy for products.
• Carry out user research and convert findings into impactful design approaches.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect high-fidelity designs.
• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to align on design goals.
• Create and maintain design systems to ensure uniformity across multiple product lines.
• Lead, mentor, and support UI/UX and Product Designers to foster skill development and high-quality output.
• Promote user-centric design principles and industry best practices throughout the company.

• Expertise in UX/UI design methodologies.
• Strong grasp of product design and strategic planning.
• Experienced in conducting user research and usability testing effectively.
• Proficient in wireframing and prototyping techniques.
• Skilled in creating and managing design systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma and other leading design software.
• Capable of leading teams and managing key stakeholder relationships.
• Experienced in designing both web-based and mobile applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Between 10 and 15 years of practical experience in product design.
• Demonstrated history of successfully leading product design teams and delivering complex digital products.
