Role Overview

The role demands strong core Java skills in a production support environment. The candidate will work on solving problems by analyzing root causes, identifying patterns, and recommending solutions collaboratively with application development teams and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

• Proficient in Java and comfortable engaging in support activities to resolve production issues.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL or PL/SQL queries.
• Experience with Unix systems and shell scripting for automation and support tasks.
• Capability to approach problems using Computer Science fundamentals, especially data structures in practical use.
• Effective communication skills to explain technical and functional issues and drive resolution processes.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented and structured programming paradigms.
• Knowledge of other scripting languages like Perl or Python is a plus.

Additional Information

• OCJP certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ideal experience range is under 5-6 years.

Eligibility

This position is open to candidates holding a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
