The service is designed for Indian residences, stores, and factories, providing IoT sensor installations without upfront costs, supported by a live monitoring center and no camera usage. The initiative is currently active in Ludhiana with ambitions to broaden throughout Punjab.

Role Overview

We seek an Installation Technician to set up and ensure the proper functioning of PEHRAA’s security sensor systems at customer locations like homes, shops, and industrial sites. As the on-site representative of our brand, you will manage hardware installation, connectivity setup, and system validation to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure multiple sensors including door/window contacts, motion detectors, glass-break sensors, and smoke/gas detectors.
• Establish WiFi connections supplemented by automatic 4G backup for reliable communication.
• Conduct operational tests on all sensors and verify communication with the monitoring platform before finalizing installations.
• Provide customers with clear guidance on system usage and respond to their queries on-site.
• Perform periodic maintenance such as battery replacements, troubleshooting sensor issues, and resolving connectivity problems.
• Keep precise records of all installations and maintenance services for each site visited.
• Collaborate with the operations team to organize daily work schedules and assignments.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of practical experience installing CCTV, networking equipment, or computer hardware.
• Minimum education level of Higher Secondary (10+2).
• Fundamental knowledge of electrical wiring along with networking and WiFi setup.
• Possession of a personal two-wheeler for commuting between customer locations within the city.
• Ability to work independently on site with strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to explain installation processes and system functionalities to customers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with smart home technology, alarm systems, or IoT devices is advantageous.
• Familiarity with using smartphones and apps for digital logging of installations.
• ITI or diploma certifications in Electrical or Electronics fields are beneficial but not mandatory.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from ₹16,000 to ₹20,000, determined by experience level.
