Job Overview

The General Helper will assist in the preparation, presentation, and service of meals while maintaining high standards for food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate meals for the following day’s production.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times.
• Properly store food using correct wrapping, dating, safety, and rotation procedures.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and handle waste disposal appropriately.
• Distribute necessary supplies, utensils, and mobile equipment.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards to ensure consistent quality, correct serving temperatures, and appropriate portion sizes.
• Maintain compliance with all mandatory sanitation and safety regulations.
• Operate in various workstations, including meal packaging and distribution areas.
• Willingness to learn skid wrapping techniques for finished products.
• Assist with food preparation and cooking duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience at Tim Hortons is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in coffee preparation and barista skills are required.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with cash register operation is beneficial.
• Excellent customer service skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information
