Role summary
This contract opportunity is for a Frontend Web Developer focused on HTML and CSS. The work is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while building and supporting responsive user interfaces for a client project.
What you will do
- Create and update front-end interface components with HTML, CSS, and closely related tools.
- Make sure layouts work smoothly across major browsers and adapt well to different screen sizes.
- Work alongside design teams to turn visual mockups into accurate, functional UI components.
- Improve front-end speed, usability, and accessibility.
- Take part in code reviews and help uphold solid development practices.
Skills and qualifications needed
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML and CSS, including semantic markup best practices.
- Comfort with responsive design and mobile-first implementation.
- Exposure to CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or utility/framework-based styling such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Ability to use browser developer tools and troubleshooting methods to debug layout and styling issues.
- Experience converting designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools into working interfaces.
