EMR Operations Technician

Role Overview

We seek a proactive and detail-oriented EMR Operations Technician based in the UAE to oversee daily equipment maintenance and repair activities. This key role focuses on ensuring efficient operations, controlling costs, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining adherence to global EMR standards by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing shipping containers and related equipment to meet safety and work standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily EMR operations at the assigned location to guarantee seamless processes and prompt resolution of issues.
• Examine operational data to detect faults, inefficiencies, and behavioral factors affecting costs and performance.
• Oversee EMR suppliers, ensuring quality and productivity conform to contract terms.
• Ensure strict compliance with EMR policies and CENEMR standard operating procedures, including enforcement and ongoing oversight.
• Conduct unit cost analyses to assist with cost control measures.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures tailored to specific local operational needs.
• Monitor and manage equipment designated as Out-of-Service to improve repair shop productivity.
• Carry out routine depot audits to evaluate inspection and repair quality and validate supplier corrective actions.
• Assist procurement teams in identifying and evaluating new EMR suppliers.
• Maintain and update relevant systems to guarantee high-quality and accurate data.
• Cooperate closely with Area Equipment teams to resolve field issues and handle contingencies.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on projects and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• Demonstrated experience in equipment maintenance and repair operations, preferably within logistics or container management.
• Strong analytical aptitude with an emphasis on controlling costs and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and conducting audits.
• Familiarity with EMR policies and procedures is advantageous.
• Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
