About the Role
Gliderol Garage Doors, part of the dormakaba group, is recognized as one of Australia's premier manufacturers specializing in sectional and roller doors. We are seeking a dependable Despatch Driver to join our team based in Holden Hill. This position is integral to our operations team, focusing on the delivery of products and supporting various despatch functions to ensure seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver products to customers and distributors located in Adelaide and nearby regions.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of vehicles, with careful product handling and secure placement.
- Support despatch and receiving activities at the site as necessary.
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with customers and internal departments to facilitate smooth deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety standards of the delivery vehicle at all times.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a valid driver's licence; an HR licence is preferred depending on the vehicle operated.
- LF Forklift Licence is mandatory.
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting.
- Competent computer skills, especially in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to perform physical tasks involving manual handling, including lifting, bending, packing, and prolonged standing.
- Availability to work overtime including Saturdays when needed to satisfy customer requirements.
- Strong communication, organizational abilities, and customer service skills.

- Experience operating hand and power tools.
- Background in delivery driving or despatch and warehouse environments.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A collaborative team player mindset, comfortable working within a close-knit team.
