Job description
Role Overview
An exceptional position is available for a Digital Design Architect within a leading global technology firm that ships billions of semiconductor chips worldwide. This role permits hybrid working arrangements, with office presence required in Cork, Dublin, or Galway.
Key Responsibilities
The role encompasses a balanced focus across three primary areas: developing complex intellectual property (IP) such as UCIe, Ethernet, and PCIe from micro-architecture definitions through to formal IP sign-off; overseeing the work of engineers within the team; and maintaining close interaction with both customers and internal management.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate would bring substantial expertise in digital integrated circuit design alongside deep IP-level microarchitecture exposure. Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog for RTL development is essential, complemented by solid experience in SoC architecture. Proven technical leadership abilities are vital. Preference is given to those with PCIe knowledge, although familiarity with other high-speed serial communications is valued.
Compensation and Benefits
This company provides a highly competitive compensation package, including a robust base salary, performance bonus, and stock unit options. In addition, visa sponsorship and a comprehensive relocation assistance package are offered.
Additional Information
Joining this organization offers exposure to state-of-the-art UCIe technology servicing leading global clients, plus opportunities to engage with other innovative technology fields. Ireland presents an excellent environment for career growth with a strong technology sector and quality of life suitable for families.
