Job description
Role Overview
As an Account Development Representative (ADR) at Octave, you will drive business growth and pipeline generation by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing sales opportunities. This role concentrates on outbound prospecting, building relationships, and working closely with Account Executives to attract new clients into our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound communications via phone, email, and social platforms to qualify leads and arrange initial meetings with Account Executives.
- Manage introductory calls to gauge customer interest, understand needs, and plan subsequent steps, prioritizing quality leads that satisfy Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) criteria.
- Consistently meet or surpass monthly SAL targets according to the annual compensation plan.
- Create and use innovative social prospecting, social selling, and email outreach tactics to boost lead engagement and meeting bookings.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects who do not yet meet SAL standards to foster relationships, discover new possibilities, and explore alternate engagement channels within organizations.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of ALI's product suite, key benefits, and buyer profiles tailored to specific industry segments.
- Effectively utilize sales tools, comply with prescribed sales processes, and uphold strict Salesforce data management and etiquette within the Inside Sales Department.
- Implement account-based prospecting strategies consistent with assigned accounts and the Ideal Client Profile (ICP), using ALI's methodology and account-specific information.
- Refer to detailed account profiles and playbooks in the SDR Playbook Folder (Google Drive), adapting promptly to updates in procedures or goals.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to focus on strategic accounts, accelerating pipeline development and supporting acquisition of new customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently.
- Experience with Asset Lifecycle software relevant to the role.
- Broad exposure to the Middle East market covering diverse industries, including non-Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise or aptitude in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and interacting across multiple channels.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems and other sales enablement tools.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and flexibility to adjust strategies and targets as required.
- Capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially within sales and marketing areas.
- Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) and sales techniques is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates holding an engineering degree.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative attitude.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
