About the Internship
This internship focuses on managing and resolving outstanding invoices within accounts receivable. The intern will be responsible for actively reaching out to customers via phone and email from the financial shared service center in Mumbai. Core duties include monitoring and controlling overdue payments, ensuring timely cash inflows in accordance with payment terms, sending reminders to prevent delays, and rectifying unapplied credit issues for US-based accounts.
Interns will also collaborate closely with collections and cash application teams, maintain ongoing communication with business units to address discrepancies promptly, and adhere to productivity and quality standards established by the organization. Deliverables must be achieved as per predetermined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with continuous monthly progress on resolving outstanding items.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Commitment to a full-time, in-office internship position with immediate availability between August 31, 2026, and October 5, 2026.
- Availability for a 6-month duration.
- Relevant skills and keen interest in financial collections.
- Telephonic communication skills must be exemplary.
- Ability to work the designated shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
