Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven Territory Manager to oversee the key North Auckland territory (including Northland and West Auckland) within our sales team. This role is field-based and offers autonomy as you forge strong relationships with clients, uncover growth prospects, and boost sales among prominent retail and independent accounts. The position demands managing multiple priorities while passionately striving to exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of major retail accounts across the North Auckland region.
  • Foster and maintain robust customer relationships, identifying avenues to grow sales and market presence.
  • Leverage data and analytical insights to propel category growth, promotions, and commercial success.
  • Formulate and implement strategic territory plans to deliver sustainable growth.
  • Act as the Yates representative in the field, partnering closely with customers to maximize performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Self-starter with a proactive, hunter mentality and a strong commercial drive.
  • Experience in building and sustaining customer relationships.
  • Skillful at translating opportunities and insights into actionable plans.
  • Exemplary planning, organizational, and self-management capabilities.
  • Team-oriented and eager to learn.
  • Background in hardware, retail, trade, FMCG, or related sectors is beneficial but not mandatory.
