Job description
Role Overview
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) applications leveraging CAP model, Fiori Elements, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Integration Suite. Collaborate closely with multifunctional teams to create secure and scalable solutions that are integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop SAP BTP applications utilizing CAP, Core Data Services (CDS), Node.js with TypeScript, and SAP HANA Cloud technologies.
- Create advanced Fiori Elements (Version 4) applications alongside OData services to enhance UI capabilities.
- Facilitate integration between SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and external systems by employing APIs and the SAP Integration Suite.
- Configure and maintain components such as Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Alert Management System (AMS), Destinations, SAP Work Zone, and Approuter.
- Engage actively in agile software delivery, including testing, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), debugging, and providing production support.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise in SAP BTP and CAP development frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in CDS, OData Version 4, Node.js, and TypeScript, with hands-on experience on SAP HANA Cloud.
- Experience designing annotation-driven UIs using Fiori Elements.
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration) and integrating SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Familiarity with security technologies including IAS, AMS, OAuth, Single Sign-On (SSO), and overall security principles.
- Experience working with GitHub repositories, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and participating in Agile development methodologies.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated history of delivering SAP BTP solutions within enterprise-scale environments.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
