Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveying (QS) Engineer based in Visakhapatnam with over 7 years in the construction sector, particularly focusing on high-rise and commercial building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and scrutinize Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform quantity take-offs and conduct detailed rate analyses.
• Manage Running Account (RA) bills, contractor payments, and verify measurement data accurately.
• Track project quantities including handling variations and additional work items.
• Examine contracts, issue work orders, and review subcontractor invoices for correctness.
• Work collaboratively with site teams, project planning, billing, and overall project management groups to ensure smooth operations.
• Compile thorough quantity reconciliation and financial cost reports for project assessments.
• Guarantee precision in measurement and billing aligned with project drawings and technical specifications.

Skill Requirements

• Proven expertise in quantity surveying within high-rise and commercial building construction.
• In-depth understanding of preparation and billing of BOQ, rate calculation, and broader quantity surveying procedures.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and AutoCAD software for documentation and design coordination.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities to liaise effectively across teams.
