Overview
Join LTIMindtree as an Oracle APEX Developer tasked with the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of superior Oracle APEX web applications. This role includes promotion to production environments and providing ongoing support post-deployment. The successful candidate will possess strong Oracle APEX development skills, have experience in database design and modeling, and collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams to deliver outstanding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement commercial-grade web applications on the Oracle APEX platform.
- Manage web page layouts utilizing APEX templates and themes to create engaging user interfaces.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and triggers essential for application functionalities.
- Implement API integrations, including REST and SOAP services, to enhance application interoperability.
- Apply Oracle performance tuning and query optimization techniques to ensure efficient database operations.
- Conduct unit testing and support Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams in System Integration Testing (SIT) and acceptance phases.
- Collaborate closely with business users and end-users to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Communicate complex technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience designing and developing web applications using Oracle APEX.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS to create dynamic and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle database concepts and design principles, with experience handling complex schemas.
- Expertise in API integration, particularly with REST and SOAP protocols.
- Experience in SQL programming, including creating, optimizing, and debugging queries and database objects.
- Knowledge of Oracle database performance enhancement methods.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for articulating technical solutions and collaborating with varied teams.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion is a desirable asset but not mandatory.
