Java Spring Boot & Microservices Developer

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced Java Spring Boot and Microservices developer based in Kolkata, India. The role calls for strong hands-on engineering expertise in Java 8+ application development, service-oriented architecture, and enterprise database work.

Technical Responsibilities

• Build and support Java 8+ applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices patterns.
• Write efficient, maintainable code with a focus on practical implementation and problem solving.
• Apply data structure concepts to improve application performance and scalability.
• Work with multithreaded programs, concurrency control, and robust exception handling.
• Develop against relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Create and maintain unit tests using JUnit to validate application behavior.
• Operate in Linux/Unix-based development environments as part of day-to-day delivery.

Leadership Expectations

• Guide and coordinate a technical team of 8 or more members.
• Contribute as a hands-on technical lead while supporting team execution and delivery quality.

Experience Required

The role is intended for professionals with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
