About the Role and Team
Deloitte India is recruiting Java Developers with hands-on AWS experience for its Pune office. The team specializes in providing strategic advice and implementation services to transform diverse data sources into actionable insights that empower clients to make data-driven decisions. This practice covers business intelligence, visualization, data management, performance management, and emerging technologies such as big data, cloud computing, cognitive computing, and machine learning.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications based on Java technology.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Construct RESTful APIs and microservices to ensure scalable and maintainable applications.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams using agile methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java development with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience using AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of REST API development and deployment in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Educational qualification of Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
