IT Capacity Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Capacity Manager to oversee and optimize IT capacity spanning workforce, infrastructure, software licenses, cloud services, and Managed Services. The position entails capacity planning, forecasting, validation of demand, utilization monitoring, and effective resource optimization within the IT Strategy & Architecture department based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive IT capacity planning including establishing baselines, forecasting needs, and tracking utilization.
• Analyze demand relative to available capacity to pinpoint resource gaps, dependencies, and constraints.
• Develop capacity forecasts covering short, medium, and long term for both projects and ongoing operations.
• Monitor and optimize resources across workforce, infrastructure, cloud platforms, software licenses, and Managed Services.
• Manage software license entitlements ensuring consumption aligns with compliance requirements.
• Lead quarterly capacity review sessions and plan ensuing adjustments.
• Generate detailed capacity reports, dashboards, and present recommendations to management.
• Aggregate data from various IT teams, configuration management databases (CMDB), internal systems, and external service providers.
• Coordinate activities with IT, Finance, Procurement, HR departments, and third-party service vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of five years' experience in fields such as IT Capacity Management, Capacity Planning, Technology Operations, IT Asset Management, Infrastructure Governance, Resource Planning, or Managed Services.
• Proven ability in capacity forecasting, utilization analysis, managing demand and capacity, and executing scenario planning.
• Expertise in at least one capacity domain: IT infrastructure, workforce/resource planning, cloud technologies, software licensing, or Managed Services.
• Hands-on experience with managing software license entitlement, utilization, and compliance.
• Mandatory fluency in both Arabic and English languages.

• Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization and reporting software.
• Certifications or knowledge related to ITIL Capacity and Performance Management.
• Background in banking, financial services, regulated industries, or managing complex multi-vendor and Managed Services frameworks.
• Additional certifications in ServiceNow, ITAM, Cloud technologies, or IT Governance are advantageous.
