Role Description

As a Sales Associate, you will leverage your knowledge and passion for animals to assist pet owners in finding the ideal nutrition and products for their pets. Be part of a dynamic team focused on quality customer service and pet care expertise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and engage in customer sales
• Manage merchandise orders, perform banking tasks and complete relevant paperwork
• Stock small items (under 10 lbs) including pet supplies and household goods on sales floor
• Ensure cleanliness through sweeping, dusting and general maintenance
• Assist with unloading delivery trucks and stocking heavier items (up to 50 lbs)
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience in retail or customer service roles
• Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• A personable, friendly attitude with strong customer service orientation
• Physical capability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability including weekends and evenings to meet attendance needs
• Reliable personal transportation to commute to store locations
