Role overview
This is a remote Frontend Engineer role focused on working with coding agents and evaluating AI-generated frontend work.
Key responsibilities
- Use advanced AI coding agents to complete and assess complex engineering assignments.
- Check AI-generated frontend code for accuracy, code quality, maintainability, accessibility, and performance.
- Spot defects, unusual cases, and likely failure points in model outputs.
- Compare responses from multiple frontier models and judge their relative strengths and limitations.
- Apply practical engineering judgment to realistic frontend development scenarios.
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional experience in frontend engineering.
- Hands-on experience creating modern web applications with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
- Frequent use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or comparable tools.
- Strong ability to assess model-produced frontend implementations, UI architecture, and performance improvements.
Preferred background
- Experience contributing to large-scale consumer or enterprise products is preferred.
Compensation and legal details
The pay rate is $85 per hour. The role is contract-based, and compensation is linked to accepted work. A separate note also mentions $400 for each accepted task.
