Role Overview
As Data Science Manager reporting to the Director of Data Science, Investment Analytics, you will impact the Investment Analytics practice and contribute to the paid media data applications Jellyfish leverages. You will lead complex data science projects, present cross-disciplinary insights, and take ownership of advanced measurement and testing to enhance client solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify hidden trends from data and communicate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Promote and explain data science methodologies such as Geo-based Incrementality experiments, Media Mix Models, Causal Impact studies, and other statistically rigorous testing techniques to enhance campaign performance.
- Create and deploy predictive models aimed at optimizing media performance, customer experience, revenue, and other results.
- Collaborate with platform partners to expand mathematical approaches for Incrementality Testing, Media Mix Modelling, and Data Clean Rooms, utilizing open-source and proprietary code to deliver superior client offerings.
- Develop thorough documentation so analytics processes can be replicated and scaled within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming using Python and SQL.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in data-related roles.
- Skilled at visualizing data with tools such as Tableau, Looker, Matplotlib, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of the marketing ecosystem and measurement frameworks encompassing paid display, search, social, video, organic, web, and app analytics.
- Experience analyzing media and web analytics data from platforms like Amazon Marketing Cloud, Google ADH, Campaign Manager, Meta, and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with media measurement techniques including media mix modeling, incrementality testing, and attribution models.
- Proactive in identifying and implementing automation and process improvements.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts; hands-on experience is advantageous.
- Collaborative approach valuing team diversity, contributing to collective goals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities focused on practical, joint resolution of challenges.

- Work Environment: Ability to work remotely up to 60% of the time with flexible working hours between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm.
