Job description
Role Overview
This position involves providing polite and efficient delivery and pick-up services for packages along assigned routes. The candidate will verify all shipments comply with FedEx Canada service standards and perform associated customer support duties.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and managing packages up to 150 lbs using suitable equipment.
- Preferred: Minimum one year of experience in customer-oriented business roles.
- Minimum passing score on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training is required.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Good organizational skills and effective time management.
- Excellent customer service aptitude.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and holidays per business demands.
Work Schedule and Conditions
- Workdays include Tuesday to Friday starting at 10:30 AM.
- Saturday shifts begin at 10:00 AM.

Driving competency is critical, requiring a valid license (Class 5, G, or 1 [AZ]) and a driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the previous 24 months. Assessment combines review of driving record, interview performance, and driver competency tests.
