Role Overview

Our Habitas Ras Abrouq invites applications for the position of Bartender to join its Food & Beverage team. This role is pivotal in delivering exquisite beverage experiences within a remote desert locale, embodying the luxury standards of a five-star resort. The Bartender must offer attentive and bespoke service, expert drink preparation, and maintain impeccable presentation, hygiene, and professionalism to create memorable guest interactions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide beverage services that align with elite hospitality standards.
• Greet guests warmly and engage them personally and professionally.
• Craft and serve a wide range of beverages including alcoholic drinks, cocktails, mocktails, and coffee according to defined guidelines.
• Advise guests knowledgeably regarding drink selections, including wines, spirits, and cocktails.
• Maintain in-depth understanding of beverage recipes, ingredients, and presentation norms.
• Consistently produce beverages with accuracy, speed, and style.
• Ensure all drinks are garnished and served correctly using the appropriate glassware.
• Anticipate guest requirements and respond proactively to enrich their bar and dining experiences.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and manage inventory efficiently.
• Follow protocols for handling and storing beverage products.
• Address guest concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.
• Accurately process customer payments and bills when necessary.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies and all resort regulations.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines.
• Support various dining functions including meals and special events as needed.
• Assist with bar opening, closing, cleaning, and inventory duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 to 3 years' bartending or beverage service work, preferably at upscale hotels, resorts, fine dining establishments, or premium bars.
• Solid expertise in luxury beverage service including cocktail preparation and presentation.
• Well-versed in varieties of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse guests.
• Detail-oriented delivering attentive, efficient, and personalized service.
• Knowledgeable about ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and beverage standards.
• Ability to maintain quality and efficiency under pressure.
• Familiarity with POS systems and billing advantageous.
• Committed to responsible alcohol service and hygiene standards.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar environment.
