Job Overview

We are seeking an Android Development Engineer to aid in expanding and customizing products tailored for the APAC market. This position is housed in Singapore and coordinates closely with the Product Technology Center at the headquarters in China, collaborating with both local APAC teams and international business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Android software applications suited for the APAC market, which includes the creation of Android apps, payment SDK integration, management of transaction modules, and adapting to various terminal vendors.
• Architect and implement systems capable of handling high concurrency; perform coding, unit tests, and comprehensive delivery aligned with local payment use cases.
• Work jointly with product, component, application, testing, and operations teams at headquarters and local business units to convert market requirements into effective application solutions.
• Create and upkeep detailed technical documentation such as design specifications, implementation manuals, and test plans.
• Keep abreast of payment industry trends within APAC, including understanding local policies and compliance to guarantee that products remain compliant and adaptable.

Candidate Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, or closely related fields.
• At least 3 years of proven Android development experience; experience in payment-related projects such as FinTech, POS payments, or offline acquiring is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Android development using Java and Kotlin, with strong expertise in Android system architecture, SDK integration, and optimizing application performance.
• Knowledgeable about POS payment scenarios, offline payment mechanisms, and security standards for financial transactions.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with excellent abilities in cross-team communication and collaboration. Able to work independently and thrive in a high-pace environment.
• Good proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese to facilitate effective communication with Chinese counterparts.
