About the Role
Team Global Express seeks a seasoned Administration Supervisor to lead and manage the administration team at our Mount Isa branch in Queensland. This permanent full-time position operates Monday to Friday and offers a valuable career progression opportunity for individuals experienced in team leadership within administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the daily functions of the branch's administration team, including workload coordination and prioritization.
- Manage administrative team schedules, including rostering, leave requests, hours, and overtime.
- Supervise financial processes such as accounts payable and receivable and ensure accurate operational, financial, and compliance reporting.
- Assist with branch performance analysis related to profit and loss statements and maintain comprehensive employee and administrative records.
- Act as second-in-command for Tollworks system use and endorse adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement system improvements to streamline administrative activities.
- Foster strong connections with customers and internal stakeholders while supporting audits, compliance, and a culture prioritizing safety.
- Champion continuous improvement and assist the regional manager with timely and accurate reporting.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within an administration team.
- Robust administrative background, preferably in transport, logistics, or similarly dynamic operational settings.
- Experience handling accounts payable/receivable and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Able to prepare and interpret operational, financial, and compliance reports, with sound numerical and cost management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under deadline pressure and engage confidently with various stakeholders.
- Previous use of Tollworks or comparable transport and database systems is highly desirable.
- Commitment to exemplary customer service, safety, and regulatory compliance.
