Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated US Compensation Analyst with 3 to 7 years of experience to join our Compensation Team in Mumbai as an individual contributor. This position centers on compensation analytics, salary benchmarking, and providing data-informed decisions to support compensation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform market pricing, analyze compensation survey data, and conduct benchmarking exercises.
- Prepare compensation proposals relating to salary adjustments, promotions, hiring, and market corrections.
- Assist in recommending retention bonuses and incentive programs.
- Contribute to the annual merit and bonus compensation cycle.
- Generate detailed compensation reports and dashboards through proficient use of advanced Excel tools.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business units offering comprehensive compensation advice.
- Evaluate compensation data to devise solutions fitting business needs.
- Maintain compliance with established compensation policies, approval processes, and relevant US compensation legislation.
Required Experience and Skills
- Between 3 to 7 years of experience in compensation-related roles.
- In-depth understanding of US compensation practices and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data modeling.
- Experience using compensation management systems such as Oracle, ServiceNow, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Educational Qualifications
Graduate degree in any discipline, with preference given to candidates from Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.
