Role Overview

Join our Technology team as a DevOps Engineer within the Site Reliability group, where you'll help build scalable infrastructure from the ground up. This role involves creating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows across multiple cloud platforms and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure frameworks and processes to support market expansion and enable tenfold scalability.
• Implement user-friendly IaC and CI/CD solutions for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Architect regional multi-cloud failover, plan disaster recovery, and establish self-service business continuity protocols to ensure system reliability.
• Design and build custom third-party integrations to manage a diverse array of complex connections.
• Maintain security-focused infrastructure, automate update patching, ensure audit readiness, and assist in regulatory compliance reporting.
• Deploy and manage key services like Postgres and Redis within cloud and hybrid infrastructure setups.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering background with backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Linux, containerization using Docker, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Understanding of distributed systems principles, including scalability, fault tolerance, load balancing, networking, and security best practices.
• Experience with continuous delivery tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Familiarity with configuration management and deployment tools, including Ansible and Terraform.
• Knowledge of relational database systems such as Postgres and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience deploying continuous delivery pipelines with Kubernetes.
• Ability to independently collaborate across teams and external vendors to design and implement scalable, end-to-end solutions from scratch.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as NewRelic, StackDriver, or Prometheus.
• Expertise in managing on-premises and hybrid environments using tools like KubeVirt to orchestrate virtual machines alongside container workloads.
