Senior Processing Attendant - Despatch Team

Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Processing Attendant (Distribution) to join our team at the Huonville Processing site in Tasmania. This permanent, full-time role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule and involves assisting the Team Leader and logistics personnel with daily warehouse functions such as picking, packing, and order dispatching. The position is critical in ensuring production targets are met while maintaining stringent safety and efficiency standards.

Key Duties

• Achieve daily production goals within a fast-moving environment.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
• Provide support to a small team to maintain seamless operational flow.
• Assist the Team Leader in meeting operational objectives.
• Commit to Tassal’s principles of safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid forklift license is mandatory.
• Minimum one year of experience in wet processing or fish manufacturing is preferred.
• Proven skills in time management and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Prior leadership experience is beneficial.
