Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Python Software Developer with 5 to 10 years of experience. The position is available across Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and New Delhi.

Required Skills

Advanced Python programming knowledge
Practical experience with one or more Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Ability to build and support REST APIs and microservice-based systems
Working knowledge of SQL databases, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Git and Agile delivery practices
Preferred exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong analytical thinking and debugging ability

Responsibilities

Build, enhance, and support backend systems using Python
Create secure and maintainable RESTful APIs
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions
Improve application efficiency, scalability, and overall performance
Take part in code reviews and assist with production support activities
