Project Technician

About the Role

Join Aggreko as a Project Technician stationed in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, focusing on the upkeep, troubleshooting, and commissioning of specialized gas power equipment, particularly Jenbacher gas engines. This role supports continuous power supply solutions ranging from short-term events to long-term operations in mining and remote areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine mechanical servicing and general equipment maintenance adhering to established procedures and standard work instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in Aggreko equipment efficiently.
• Assist with installation and commissioning activities as required.
• Maintain high-quality standards and promptly report any quality concerns.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in operational and technical project environments.
• Familiarity with Project Operations Procedures.
• Hands-on experience with gas and diesel generators.
• Preferably holds INNIO certification, at least FTB/FTA level.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Electrical fitting and wiring experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of a specialized diploma or vocational training.
• Capable of working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail and quality.
• HV-AP qualification is a plus but optional.
