Position Overview

We are looking for a MS SQL Database Administrator Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of experience managing SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and optimized database performance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute SQL Server installations, apply patches, and manage upgrades.
• Perform comprehensive database tuning and optimization.
• Implement backup and recovery processes for SQL Server databases.
• Manage SQL Server replication, mirroring, log shipping, and maintenance plans.
• Utilize and manage SQL Server tools effectively.
• Install, administer, and maintain SQL Server instances.
• Manage user accounts and assign permissions aligned with access requirements.
• Design and oversee database backup and restoration strategies.
• Configure high availability setups as part of disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor system and database performance at server and query levels.
• Document significant changes made to SQL Server environments.
• Apply service packs and updates as needed.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
