Job description
About the Role
Join EY as an Integration Lead in Kochi, Kerala, driving the evolution and ownership of the enterprise integration layer that enables agentic AI systems to seamlessly interact with each other and enterprise platforms. This pivotal role is crucial to expanding agentic AI beyond isolated use cases into robust, scalable, enterprise-grade integrations, ensuring consistent patterns, governed access to tools and data, and smooth communication between agents and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize integration architectures and patterns for agentic AI, including API-based, event-driven, asynchronous messaging, and hybrid deterministic with AI-driven workflows.
- Ensure all integrations comply with enterprise standards for resilience, scalability, observability, and security aligned with the firm's AI reference architecture.
- Facilitate agent-to-agent interoperability using common protocols and contracts to allow discovery, collaboration, delegation, context exchange, and support for heterogeneous frameworks and vendors.
- Integrate and extend orchestration SDKs and frameworks for coordinated workflows, bridging custom and platform-based orchestrators while maintaining clear separation between orchestration control and connectivity layers.
- Design and implement integrations with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to enable standardized discovery, invocation of APIs and data sources, and governed, observable contract layers across agents.
- Lead the integration of agentic AI solutions with core enterprise applications, data platforms, automation tools, and third-party services ensuring unified identity and access management, audit, and policy enforcement consistent with AI governance.
- Create reusable integration blueprints, templates, and accelerators to avoid fragmented agent integrations by enforcing common contracts, versioning, and lifecycle management, partnering with AI governance and architecture forums to institutionalize standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 10 years working within global IT environments collaborating across disciplines to deliver customer-aligned projects.
- At least 3 years in global delivery or transformation roles within large scale infrastructure programs.
- Minimum 3 years experience in global operations environments.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or enterprise architecture certifications like TOGAF are required.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in enterprise integration patterns including API, event-driven, asynchronous, and microservices-based architectures.
- Experience integrating complex distributed systems at an enterprise scale.
- Understanding of agent-to-agent communication protocols, interoperability challenges, and practical exposure to orchestration frameworks and SDKs coordinating AI workflows.
- Familiarity with emerging protocols such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-to-agent (A2A) concepts.
- Strong API design skills, including REST, eventing, contract definition, and schema design.
- Experience with cloud-native services and enterprise integration tools.
