Computer Software Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Computer Software Engineer to join Xiaomi Technology in Singapore, focusing on building and maintaining robust big data infrastructure systems. The role involves designing automation tools to manage large-scale systems efficiently and ensuring system reliability through proactive troubleshooting and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain dependable big data infrastructure components such as HDFS, HBase, ElasticSearch, Doris, RocksDB, and ClickHouse.
• Create and implement automation tools to enhance management of extensive big data systems.
• Diagnose and address production issues affecting performance and system stability.
• Work closely with application development teams to resolve issues and enhance system robustness.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and promptly respond to incidents.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP protocols, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and computer architecture.
• Proficient in at least one backend programming language such as Python, Golang, or Java.
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and networking concepts is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across various teams.
