Responsibilities
- Deliver cargo counter services in compliance with regulations from the Company, Customs, Transport Canada, IATA, and relevant authorities.
- Accept dangerous goods for air transport adhering to Company policies and civil aviation regulations of Germany and Canada.
- Oversee station ULD (Unit Load Device) inventories and coordinate with Cargo Network Control in Toronto to maintain adequate equipment availability at Frankfurt for both passenger and cargo flights.
- Implement flight load plans and collaborate with warehouse and ramp teams to maximize efficient use of space and weight capacity per flight.
- Input data into S4A and smartload systems, as well as monitor and coordinate ramp activities.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding cargo handling, packaging rules, and specialized service requests.
- Manage operational disruptions and irregularities promptly.
- Maintain office consumables including forms, labels, and stationery, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Supervise the buildup of high-value or high-tech product shipments in the cargo terminal to prevent incidents of theft or pilferage.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of the airfreight industry.
- Minimum of two years' relevant professional experience in similar roles.
Conditions of Employment
Candidates must possess legal eligibility to work in Germany and be responsible for securing any necessary permits or visas before commencing employment. Proof of this eligibility will be required prior to start date.
Linguistic Requirements
Fluency in both English and German is mandatory.
