Role Summary
The Associate Manager role focuses on overseeing delivery teams and client engagements with a governance-focused approach. - Ensure audit readiness by maintaining proper documentation, delivery controls, and compliance adherence.
- Monitor team utilization and workload distribution to sustain a balanced operating model.
- Assess capability coverage and development needs within teams, escalating any gaps and supporting improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers and People Leads to provide performance feedback aligned with organizational performance frameworks.
- Facilitate communication and transparency between delivery teams, leadership, and stakeholders acting as a senior liaison.
- Support leadership reporting by offering structured insights on delivery status, risks, and areas for enhancement.
- Promote adherence to governance processes, decision-making frameworks, and escalation paths to align stakeholder expectations.
- Participate in governance forums, management reviews, and performance reporting activities.
- Drive standardization and maturity of delivery governance practices, focusing on organizational policies, quality standards, and internal controls.
- Identify trends and systemic risks to contribute to continuous delivery improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in managing delivery oversight, service governance, or engagement management within complex and multi-team environments.
- Strong knowledge of performance management, SLAs, risk and issue governance frameworks.
- Proven capability to engage senior stakeholders and present structured, data-driven insights effectively.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills balancing governance requirements with operational realities.
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, or quality assurance processes is considered an advantage.
Leadership Qualities
- A governance-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to standards, controls, and consistency.
- Ability to contribute strategically at a cross-engagement level instead of day-to-day project execution.
- Composed, methodical, and objective approach in managing performance discussions and escalations.
- Dedication to establishing sustainable delivery models and fostering ongoing improvements.
