Associate Manager – Network Security Operations

Job Overview

The Associate Manager is responsible for providing high-level management supervision over multiple teams and projects, concentrating on governance, performance monitoring, and ensuring alignment with the organization's standards rather than engaging in day-to-day project activities.

This role includes reviewing the delivery outcomes, tracking progress against strategic objectives and service-level agreements (SLAs), and guaranteeing that any risks, challenges, or escalations are properly recognized and acted upon via the correct management channels.

Additionally, the Associate Manager oversees people and stakeholder engagement, promoting effective team utilization, balanced workloads, professional growth, and constructive performance evaluations while fostering a sustainable and healthy working environment.

Serving as a senior liaison, the Associate Manager facilitates clear communication between delivery teams, Delivery Managers, and leadership, ensuring transparency and the alignment of expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple teams and projects, focusing on high-level governance.
• Track and assess delivery performance and progress relative to goals and SLAs.
• Identify and address risks, issues, and escalations through proper delivery management pathways.
• Manage team utilization and ensure balanced workload distribution.
• Support team capability growth and provide regular performance feedback.
• Maintain a sustainable operating model that promotes organizational health.
• Act as a senior communication bridge between delivery teams, Delivery Managers, and organizational leadership.
• Ensure transparent communication and expectation alignment across stakeholders.
• Participate in governance forums and contribute to management reports.
• Assist with audit preparation and promote continuous process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Professional experience ranging from 5 to 7 years in relevant roles.
• Advanced expertise in Network Security Operations with expert-level proficiency (P4 – Expert).
• Proven experience in providing governance and management oversight across teams and client engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor delivery against objectives and SLAs effectively.
• Competence in identifying, managing, and escalating risks and issues appropriately.
• Experience in managing team utilization, balancing workloads, developing capabilities, and delivering performance feedback.
• Strong skills in stakeholder communication and relationship management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with delivery teams, Delivery Managers, and senior leadership.
• Experience supporting governance forums, generating management reports, audit readiness, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Familiarity with organizational policies, controls, and maintaining quality standards.
