Role Overview

The Assistant Manager for Logistics Training will lead the training team focused on delivering effective training and development programs for our riders and hiring teams. This role involves assessing training needs, developing comprehensive plans, delivering various training types, overseeing hiring processes, and ensuring ongoing skill enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the training team by identifying present and future training requirements through job analyses, career pathways, performance appraisals, and coordination with trainers and line managers.
• Create both overall and tailored training and development plans that meet identified needs and expectations.
• Implement diverse training approaches such as mentoring, coaching, on-the-job sessions, e-learning modules, workshops, and simulations.
• Organize and deliver effective induction and orientation sessions for new employees.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness, success, and return on investment (ROI) of training programs and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Manage the training budget prudently to optimize resources.
• Provide continuous learning opportunities to improve skills and knowledge among team members.
• Address specific challenges and customize training initiatives as needed.
• Keep updated with the latest trends, methods, and best practices in training and development.

Hiring and Training Duties

• Lead the hiring process to maintain an adequate and quality fleet of riders.
• Develop and sustain a monthly supply model to improve fleet management efficiency.
• Train the hiring team to conduct brief interviews and assess basic skills of new rider candidates effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven professional experience as a Trainer or similar role.
• Experienced in crafting and implementing successful training programs.
• Knowledgeable in both traditional and modern training techniques, including mentoring, coaching, hands-on training, e-learning, workshops, and simulations.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask, plan, and manage time efficiently.
• Competent in writing and maintaining reports and training documentation.
• Good analytical abilities and experience handling databases.
• Proficiency in Arabic or Hindi/Urdu languages is considered advantageous.
