Job description
Role Overview
The Assistant Digital Platform Engagement Manager leads the advancement, performance monitoring, and daily oversight of Mediacorp's Microdrama social media channels, including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram. This role merges platform strategy, audience analysis, content enhancement, and community interaction to boost reach, maintain audience interest, and support ongoing platform expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee platform growth strategies utilizing data-driven insights and audience behavior analytics.
- Collaborate with content creation and marketing teams to refine content strategy and audience engagement.
- Manage daily operations such as content publishing, community moderation, compliance, and adherence to platform best practices.
- Analyze platform performance metrics and deliver actionable recommendations for content and engagement improvements.
- Conduct competitor analysis and social listening to identify trends and content opportunities.
- Optimize distribution tactics including publishing schedules, metadata, hashtags, and platform features.
- Perform A/B testing to refine creative elements and posting strategies.
- Build and nurture active online communities through audience interaction and engagement initiatives.
- Work with marketing teams to create integrated campaigns, amplify key content, and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with copyright, content rights, and platform requirements while maintaining content calendars and workflows.
Foundational Competencies
- Comprehensive understanding of social media digital content dynamics and presentation.
- Familiarity with current digital content and social media trends.
- Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively on projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
- At least two years’ experience in digital content planning and social media platform best practices.
- Experience in both short and long-form digital content management is advantageous.
- Strong verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting under pressure.
- Excellent multitasking, planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
