About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Execute production tasks by assembling various train components onto car bodies, such as fastening sidewall panels and drilling.
- Install sub-assembled internal components onto the train car body as required.
- Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) guidelines and safe work procedures consistently.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of workstations and production equipment.
- Prepare production equipment including workstations, test benches, inspection tools, and warehouse apparatus.
- Adhere to assigned task durations and quality standards defined by operating procedures, methods, and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) routing.
- Identify and verify parts prior to installation based on operating instructions.
- Monitor production stages, perform basic testing, and check quality standards.
- Manage handling and storage of goods and raw materials within factory and warehouse environments.
- Report any process deviations or quality issues to Team Leadership promptly.
- Complete tally sheets in the MRP system when instructed by the Team Leader.
- Package goods securely for shipment utilizing crates or other containers as necessary.
- Comply with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols when manufacturing electronic devices.
Performance Metrics
- Manufacturing efficiency measured by actual time versus standard methods time.
- Achievement of product quality targets.
- Timely completion of assigned production tasks.
- Consistent adherence to EHS policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years’ experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting focusing on electronics, electrical, or mechanical equipment.
- Proven expertise as an operator in electronics, electrical, or mechanical environments.
- Strong concentration on manufacturing effectiveness and quality control, including reporting defects and schedule updates through electronic systems.
- Effective collaboration and transparent communication skills within team environments.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
