Gold and Minerals Ltd is an expanding exploration and development firm with a successful track record in Saudi Arabia since 2009. The company is currently focused on advancing two key projects: the Jibal Qutman Project located near Bisha in the Asir province, and the Hawiah Project near Taif in the Makkah Province. Committed to the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, Gold and Minerals aims to grow rapidly aligned with its development objectives over the next three years.
Core Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate wireline logging tools during exploratory drilling campaigns.
- Carry out downhole geophysical logging surveys efficiently and with safety as a priority.
- Maintain the logging equipment in optimal condition and promptly report any malfunctions.
- Support the mobilization, demobilization, and field installation of logging systems.
- Collect precise downhole geophysical measurements including gamma, density, resistivity, and other relevant logging techniques.
- Continuously monitor data quality during logging operations and detect issues as they arise.
- Conduct routine calibrations and system checks to ensure consistent and accurate data output.
- Collaborate with drilling teams and geological personnel to coordinate logging tasks.
- Manage logging data by downloading, organizing, and archiving it following company protocols.
- Compile concise field summaries and generate preliminary technical reports.
- Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures established by the company.
- Work in close partnership with geologists, geophysicists, and drilling staff to support exploration efforts.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related Earth Science field.
- Preferably 2 years of experience in wireline logging, downhole geophysical techniques, mineral exploration, or drilling support roles.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Demonstrates keen attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications and field data management tools.
- Capable of working safely in isolated locations under rotational schedules.
- Possession of a valid driving license is advantageous.
