Role Overview

Based in Newington, Sydney, this contract position focuses on authenticating luxury watches to guarantee a trustworthy shopping experience for eBay’s luxury clientele. You will play a crucial role in upholding buyer confidence by ensuring the authenticity of watches and related items.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully inspect and authenticate watches, accessories, and related items following stringent protocols and processes.
• Apply your knowledge of vintage and contemporary watches to verify authenticity by identifying brand-specific markers.
• Assess the quality of watch components, movements, materials, and models across various luxury brands.
• Maintain precise documentation and record details such as release data, SKU numbers, production dates, and item conditions in eBay’s authentication database.
• Use specialized software and technological tools to evaluate and record orders throughout the workflow.
• Prepare and package orders according to international standards to be shipped worldwide.

Candidate Profile

• Possess thorough knowledge of luxury watches spanning multiple brands, including both modern and vintage timepieces.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest industry developments, trends, and technological advances.
• Sharp attention to detail with an analytical and meticulous approach.
• Comfortable utilizing various technological platforms and software.
