About the Role
Join the Asahi Beverages team as a Warehouse Operator based at their Townsville facility. This role plays a crucial part in distribution by ensuring finished goods are accurately unloaded, stored, issued, and reconciled following Supply Chain, Customer, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards. Precision and prompt handling of production stock are essential to connecting customers with Australia's beloved beverage brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual picking tasks aligned with daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Execute cycle stock-takes to reconcile discrepancies between SAP data and physical inventory.
- Conduct regular reviews of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and report any faults to maintain optimal functionality.
- Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and policies within the warehouse environment.
- Provide training and support to team members to promote multi-skilling and enhance overall team productivity.
- Maintain daily communication with freight providers and delivery drivers to coordinate operations.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in manual picking within a dynamic warehouse setting.
- Possession of a Forklift License is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong skills in written and verbal communication, including proficiency in data entry.
- Capability to follow written instructions meticulously, keep accurate records, and demonstrate keen attention to detail.
- Effective team player with high engagement and willingness to participate in team activities.
- Problem-solving skills with an ability to investigate and resolve issues efficiently.
- Committed to maintaining safety standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor tasks.
