Job description
Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Accountant is responsible for ensuring accuracy and transparency in inventory and financial records related to warehouse operations.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with the general ledger records and investigate any discrepancies in stock.
- Prepare comprehensive reports including daily, monthly, and annual inventory summaries, profit and loss statements, and detailed cost analyses.
- Manage compliance with taxation requirements such as Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings, E-Way bill management, and adherence to Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) regulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits focused on stock and inventory to uphold strict internal financial controls.
- Liaise effectively with procurement, dispatch, and warehouse teams to monitor and document the flow of goods within the supply chain.
