About the Role
As a Visual Merchandiser at C&A in Velbert, you will be responsible for crafting a visually captivating and inspiring store environment to engage customers. Your creative window displays will entice visitors, while you will also mentor sales colleagues to uphold visual merchandising standards effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure an attractive and sales-enhancing presentation of merchandise by adhering to visual merchandising guidelines and incorporating your own innovative ideas.
- Design and decorate window mannequins in an inspiring manner.
- Analyze sales data and key performance indicators through the Merchandise Management System to refine the presentation and alignment of collections.
- Implement centrally developed sales strategies and concepts within the store's displays.
- Boost sales results by presenting products creatively and appealingly.
- Train colleagues on proper application of visual merchandising standards.
- Identify and take advantage of opportunities to improve sales performance.
- Assist customers with product needs or styling questions at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completed commercial retail training complemented by substantial experience in visual merchandising, or alternatively completed training as a visual marketing designer or in a related creative profession.
- Strong analytical skills to transform sales figures into practical merchandising solutions.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities to coordinate priorities and create weekly plans in close collaboration with the store manager.
- Affinity for business processes and competence in using space metrics and merchandise management systems.
- Intuitive understanding of customer desires and the ability to translate those into wearable visual merchandising concepts.
