This position is offered under the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) program. Candidates should verify their eligibility for this contract type before applying.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the production of Test and Commissioning (T&C) documentation, including procedures, reports, and management of punch lists.
- Coordinate closely with various project stakeholders and entities to manage interfaces.
- Conduct and observe specific system tests, organizing and scheduling on-site testing activities.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address system malfunctions, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Manage system configuration throughout the different testing phases.
- Maintain regular updates and communication with the Project Commissioning Manager regarding progress and resolution of issues during T&C.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of an engineering degree in computer science, telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Proficient fluency in English.
- Understanding of distributed systems architectures, such as microservices, databases, and messaging frameworks.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts and protocols like TCP/IP and HTTP, including tools used for network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with programming or scripting for purposes such as debugging and automation.
- Exposure to cloud computing technologies, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with incident management platforms such as Jira or DevOps is advantageous.
- Strong communication abilities to articulate technical information clearly to non-technical collaborators.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to efficiently detect and fix issues.
- Capability to make independent, well-considered decisions under pressure, balancing speed and accuracy.
- Exhibits patience, empathy, and a team-oriented approach fostering effective collaboration with colleagues and users.
- Adaptability and a dedication to ongoing learning and development.
