Role Overview
The Video Editor position is a full-time, onsite role at our Bengaluru South location. The selected candidate will be tasked with editing and assembling educational video content, including lessons, promotional videos, and social media assets. Responsibilities involve organizing raw footage, applying transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, performing color grading, and adding motion graphics or visual enhancements to increase engagement. This role requires close collaboration with content creators, instructional designers, and marketing teams to polish concepts, uphold uniform visual standards, and ensure timely project delivery. Staying informed about trends in video production and edtech media, the editor will continuously optimize content for diverse platforms and formats.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in video editing and production, comprehensively managing post-production processes.
- Skilled in video color grading and basic graphic design to sustain visual consistency and brand representation.
- Capable of creating and integrating motion graphics and visual elements that strengthen storytelling and learner interaction.
- Proficient with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of sound design principles, various file formats, resolution criteria, and export specifications tailored to different platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate efficiently across diverse teams.
- Previous experience in edtech, educational content, or youth-centered media is advantageous; a degree or certification in film, media, design, or related disciplines is desirable but not mandatory.
