Overview
Value Partners Investments (VPI), a Winnipeg-based investment management firm established in 2005 managing assets exceeding $6.9 billion, is seeking an innovative and skilled Video Editor. This permanent full-time role reports to the Senior Video Editor and is focused on creating polished, visually engaging marketing videos to support communication efforts with advisors, clients, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and edit a variety of marketing videos, including explanatory content, interview segments, live broadcasts, and recorded corporate events.
- Support studio productions and live events by managing equipment setup, multi-camera recording, and teardown activities.
- Develop dynamic motion graphics and visual content sourced from external materials such as chart visuals and PowerPoint presentations.
- Deliver comprehensive post-production support for diverse corporate video projects as required.
- Enhance the quality, consistency, and brand alignment of all video content.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education in video production, broadcasting, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop.
- Experience with live broadcast software such as vMix or OBS is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with video and audio communication platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Capability to simplify complex topics through clear graphics and visuals.
- Experience with digital accessibility standards across various media formats including PDFs, PowerPoint, video, and web content.
Compensation and Career Benefits
The annual base salary for this position ranges between 62,800 and 94,200 CAD, exclusive of bonuses or commissions. Additional total rewards components will be elaborated during the recruitment stages.
