Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to transform raw wedding footage into compelling story-driven films such as teasers, highlights, and full-length videos. The role involves working closely with footage from multiple cameras, syncing audio and video seamlessly, and implementing smooth transitions and creative effects including color grading and audio mixing. Understanding the couple's unique story and emotional context is crucial in creating the right mood. Collaboration with our cinematographers and photographers ensures stylistic consistency, while organizing project files for efficiency and archival purposes is also essential. Staying current with emerging wedding editing trends, transitions, and LUTs is highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and refine raw wedding footage into polished cinematic films.
• Manage multi-angle video synchronization and seamless audio editing.
• Utilize color grading, audio mixing, and creative effects to enhance visuals.
• Interpret client stories and emotions to deliver impactful narrative films.
• Coordinate with cinematographers and photographers to preserve a consistent style.
• Maintain organized project files for easy access and workflow efficiency.
• Keep abreast of the latest wedding editing techniques and software capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with After Effects for motion graphics and creative transitions is preferred.
• Strong storytelling abilities with excellent pacing and music synchronization.
• Experience in color correction, grading, and sound design.
• Capability to perform under tight deadlines especially during busy wedding seasons.
• Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics and creativity.
• Previous experience editing wedding films or similar cinematic storytelling projects is highly advantageous.

Additional Information

• Location: Dahisar East, Mumbai, Maharashtra
• Job Type: Full-time
• Experience: 6 months to 2 years preferred, specifically in wedding or creative video editing.
