Job description
About Grill'd and Opportunity
Join Grill’d, a thriving hospitality brand with over 22 years of success and 175+ restaurants, known for rapid growth and creating leadership opportunities. We seek energetic Venue Managers who act as operators, not employees, leading teams and turning busy restaurants into top-performing businesses. This role offers a unique hospitality career path with potential equity-like business ownership outside of franchising, allowing you to influence your team's success, business results, and your earnings directly.
Why Work at Grill'd
- Comprehensive 8-week onboarding including leadership workshops and hands-on training.
- Pathways for advancing your career to ownership programs, Area Manager, or support office roles.
- Uncapped monthly bonuses linked to sales performance.
- Exciting rewards and celebratory trips to destinations such as Bali, London, Singapore, and Cambodia.
- An authentic workplace culture rooted in strong company values.
- Community engagement through initiatives like City Support Nights and Local Matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-performing restaurant business with full accountability for revenue, profits, and guest experience.
- Coach and develop the Restaurant Manager to handle day-to-day operations while you drive broader commercial outcomes.
- Increase sales via local partnerships, business development, and marketing campaigns.
- Cultivate community relationships to position your venue as a popular local destination.
- Build and maintain a strong leadership pipeline among your team, not just staffing rosters.
- Collaborate on financial metrics, budgets, and KPIs to ensure business targets are met.
Additional Information
Grill'd promotes diversity and inclusivity embracing various cultures and identities, fostering a respectful, welcoming work environment. Applicants must have full Australian working rights and successfully complete a National Police Check.
If you are a commercially driven hospitality leader seeking a career that rewards initiative and performance, this role offers the excitement and growth potential you desire.
